Hmmm how should I say,
Today was my last day working in the Family & Juvenile Court. Truly up till this morning, I'm still very fond of the place for it has given me the opportunities to shine, learn and the many many fond memories created with the people there and some working at the Subordinate Court.
The day started off well, with some celebration going on for the retirement of a respectable Judge. Though the celebration wasn't for me, I felt extremely honoured to even leave on the same day as him. Slacked around and started my work only after 10!
haha.
Off for lunch at 1! at coffee bean. Really appreciate it that all of them working that day went just for me although it is nearing the end of the month and they complained that they are broke. Even Brandon joined in.
Though I guess you were busying studying at that point of time, my heart wished you were there so i could see your beautiful face once again. The coffee bean manager even gave me a free cup of mocha and the table with 12 of us 2 free cheese cakes to honour my 'resignation'!
haha I felt like king!
Finished my very last bit of work near 4 and went around to say my thanks and goodbyes to everyone. First to level 3 registry, then level 2 back end office, Maintenance Counter,
MMC, Office 4, Juvenile Court and
POS. All the sweet words and praises got me high, like on drugs. They all really made my day! :) Then came the unexpected gifts. I really didn't expect it cause I gave everyone such a short notice, however they still put up the cards and gifts nicely for me. Those words are really heart-felt and I'm super super appreciative of everyone. My all-time favourite lunch gang,
rui rong and
hui ping. I stayed back a bit to say thanks to Agnes, my friendly and kind boss, before I left my workplace filled with wonderful memories. It's like walking back the same track like almost any other day, glancing at the direction you will always walk out from hoping to see you, savouring the very last bit of everything.
The best part of today was that you finally replied! :)
Peeping and glancing at you during lunch, noticing and remembering things about you, our train rides back ;P and irritating you always. Just wanna say I'll never leave.....
A frown in the morning turned to a grin from ear to ear at night. Everything is a blessing. I appreciate every finest bits of it. :)
