Even the strongest shield breaks sometimes.
Office politics.
I'm not the victim but seeing someone, who always render her help willingly when you need it, being back-stabbed and bullied around, I cannot help but got pulled in for the emotional ride today. No I did not cry obviously, nevertheless, I was feeling helpless because I was not able to do anything to help her at all.
Tendering resignation for a job you have been working for for 13 years is not an easy feat. Really. You have gotten so used to your little private space, old friends and all the good old times and the bad times you had there. I find it really takes more than just courage to throw the letter.
